I use to do that as a kid, but never at 3 a.m. My mom would be pissed. My fave letters were B (birds) and F (fish) as they use to include lots of pretty pictures.
I'm sure you'll get a few interesting google searches out of this post.
You learn something new everyday! I take it you had insomnia? Did reading about beavers help you fall back asleep? I hope you manage to get 40 winks tonight. Otherwise, you'll have to start reading about tree sloths or pandas...
